Jacaranda in the Twilight
I'm participating in my first ever wordless wednesday and so far i've ruined it by not making it wordless...

I decided to join Tina and Linda for Wordless Wednesday.

and Susan's Outdoor Wednesday... i must apologize, i couldn't figure out how to post her button/logo, so once i send her an email and hear back from her i'll post it here >  < :)

and Stewart for his Wild bird Wednesday

Well, i'm going to be wordless now.

  3. Welcome to Wordless Wednesday Again! Very nice offering for your first time - and on this blog, you don't have to be wordless...but words are optional! Thanks for joining in the fun! Please come back again next week! (You might want to think about removing word verification from your blog - it usually gets more responses that way because some people won't bother...and Blogger has been really good about catching spam!)

    1. Thanks Linda, i doubt that you'll be able to get rid of me now :)

Thanks about the comment on word verification, i wasn't really sure how good Blogger was with spam. i'm subscribed to a couple of other non-blogger posts and they are constantly getting hit with spam. i've got to get to bed, but i'll definitely have a look at removing the word verification tomorrow.... i do love comments :)

thankyou so much for popping in and having a look :)

    1. They can be really amazing at just the right time, it hadn't rained for several weeks so there was a fair ammount of dust in the air so the sunsets have been really good.... though i do miss the rain

  9. You are lucky to get a shot of the bower bird, i love all these photos and the seagull, its good to have fish and chips for dinner eh! by the sea, wonderful. Word verification is a nuisance, it trapped me once for half an hour, thats why i don't use it, and i havn't had any problems with bloggers spam system. Have a good day Michael.

    1. hehehehe, me so sneaky :)

i spent the whole weekend looking for it, i have about 20 photos of both the male and the female and i've been documenting the different "ornaments" that he has each time we go camping there

yesterday was really hot and humid because rain was on its way so having fish and chips by the bay with the lovely breeze was just heavenly.

ok, thats it, word verification is going :)

    1. I love this time of year with the jacarandas, for some reason our jacaranda always flowers about 3 weeks later than all the others in brisbane :)

i do love birds :) they are so varied and wonderful

  11. I think the gull was hoping you'd share your fish n chips. Brilliantly-colored blue bird.

  12. Ah - the old chip stealer! My kids torture me by trying to get be to say "sea" before I say "gull"!

The bower bird is such a splendid bird.

    Thanks for linking to WBW.

    1. aren't we kids full of quirky habits :)

i adore that bowerbird, sadly last time i went up to Binna Burra his bower had been disturbed so he'd dismantled it and moved it.... i'll just have to find it again :)

and i will hopefully be linking to WBW for many wednesdays to come :)
