My Little Patch of Heaven

Hey Everyone,

For those of you, who by some chance haven't heard this song before, I figured I just had to share it.  Seeing as how I listen to this song all the time, i.e. it's my alarm that i wake up to in the mornings, I thought that something similar to the title of the song may make a nice name for my blog, hence the name My Patch of Heaven.  After all, my garden may not be someone elses patch of heaven, and it may not look like heaven, but it is mine and that's all that matter to me.

And of course, how could I not share one of those animal friends that I share the garden with, which of course is one of the things that makes it that slice of heaven

These are some old photos of Nalle as a puppy

Nalle and his brother, the Loch Ness Monster

AHHH, RUN FOR YOUR LIVES

And how could I not share these two photos mum took of one of grandma's puppys

Happy Gardening,
Michael

  2. I adopted all of my dogs after they were puppies. I wish I'd had a chance to see them in that stage. Yours are adorable!

    1. They are wonderful as puppies, it's so nice watching them grow up, and having fun with them, though ours are now 2 years old and still act like puppies :)

  3. For the first time on your blog I was attracted by your dogs. How cute they are and also your grandma's white little dog. I see you are a keen gardenlover, especial orchids. We also have a dog, an over-active border collie of 10 years old and still behaving as a puppy, playing all day. I shall follow you.

    1. Hi Janneke, I'm so glad you liked the dogs, I do love them dearly. grandma has had several litters of puppies, the ones shown above are the puppies from the first litter, she's had 3 litters and the puppies are always gorgeous.

Oh i adore border collies, and that is brilliant that your dog is 10 and still enjoying life :)

and thank you so much for following me, i appreciate it so much :)
